Legal IT Exhibition Islington
DPS reported an interesting exhibition at Legal IT in London at the Business Design Centre. Always busy the staff on the DPS stand took a high number of serious enquiries from firms that were looking to improve office efficiency with fully integrated accounts, digital dictation, and case management systems.
The main points of interest were system resilience clearly with a mind on disaster recovery; integrating digital dictation with case management systems and web based access was also high on the agenda.
The other big area of interest was the production of on demand KPI (key performance indicator) reports and the One Office ability to deliver these via a web browser was very popular.
Barry Bostoff, DPS Sales Manager, said, “This was a busier show for us than previous years and it is clear that the success of One Office put it on more short lists”
Gerard Barden, DPS Senior Systems consultant said, “I was very impressed with the quality of the visitors and their clear understanding of their requirements”
The qualities of the attendee’s points to an upturn in IT spend for the coming year. Many firms are looking for strategic solutions to meet changing market conditions
The other big factor on the ‘clients shopping list’ was open systems integration and an ability to choose ‘best of breed’ applications.
The ability of One Office to integrate to Civica™, Elite™, and TFB™ impressed buyers looking for case and digital dictation solutions to integrate to their existing accounts software.
