On Line Criminal Diary Launched

DPS have launched an on line diary that was designed with criminal fee earners in mind. The diary is available on the internet and lets users view their appointments by court (location), person, date range, work type, or any other defined criteria. The court (location) can be a specific or a type of location, e.g. all magistrates’ courts, or a specific magistrate’s court. The ability to view the diary using a mobile makes this a truly portable solution. The system allows attendance notes and results to be entered against appointments on line meaning that fee earners can effectively update their diaries whilst in court. If you would like to trial the court diary then please speak to you account manager who will have it set up for you free of charge.

Client Focus

Colman Coyle Solicitors -Islington has recently upgraded their DPS system to ‘One Office’ with the purchase and integration of the Cashier accounts solution. At the same time, this practice also chose to integrate TeamTalk, DPS’ sophisticated digital dictation system, into their infrastructure. They were existing users of Big Hand and chose to replace it with TeamTalk, due to the software’s capabilities and integration into the DPS product suite. Initially, the TeamTalk integration was a pilot, however after a relatively short period of testing; the practice has opted to replace all of its existing Big Hand Total Speech licenses to TeamTalk. Interestingly, the reason for this was not only to do with the integration to the DPS case system - the practice simply felt that TeamTalk was a better digital dictation system, offering better management facilities. A full profile will be available on this company on the web site in the future.
