At DPS Software we have been providing legal management software to law firms the length and breadth of the UK for over 35 years. Our company is the only legal technology supplier in the UK to be ISO 27001:2013 & GDPR accredited at a company level, and we serve hundreds of law firms with thousands of users. We are also the largest legal cloud supplier in the UK.

Our case management systems cover conveyancing and remortgage, family and childcare, personal injury, crime and billing, will drafting, and probate and estate accounts. All of our case management systems can be customised to meet your individual requirements, and we have also adapted them so that they meet the needs of new ABSs that operate in a different way from traditional law firms.

The systems can be supplied with ready to go templates for any area, such as employment law or immigration, or we can load your own precedents, workflows, and forms, providing you with a bespoke system. The workflows can also be set up with user-defined rules allowing access to some users while preventing certain users from doing certain tasks without supervision. The workflows are flexible enough to allow chosen users to move from one stage to another, while another less experienced user may need authority.

A set of documents and plain paper forms is provided and information from a case is automatically pulled into the documents, and then paragraphs individually selected depending on the circumstances, so no letter is standard. The whole process is automated so that whole documents can be produced in Word or Adobe in a couple of clicks. Letters can also be amended easily if need be. They can then be emailed, faxed, or printed as required, and time is automatically recorded and filed against the case.

From one screen the fee earner can view the whole file history; compose emails, write letters or make phone calls; reschedule tasks to another day for another fee earner, and complete tasks. Supervisor users can also view tasks for other users and take actions on behalf of them or assign tasks to other users.

All of the case management systems are linked seamlessly to Financial Director which is our accounting system. Users have access to a single database of accounts and case data with WIP figures available in both. This reduces time spent on input and checking data on two systems and ensures that the accounts data is kept up to date.
