Law Firms can achieve partial GDPR compliance simply by being hosted with DPS Software. This follows DPS being recertified with the ISO 27001:2013 accreditation, which they have held for 6 years.
The accreditation means that firms hosted by DPS will automatically satisfy a number of data security requirement implemented by GDPR as they already meet ISO standards.
ISO 27001:2013 is the international standard of best practices when it comes to Information Security and having passed the British Standards Institutes assessment yet again, DPS have shown that their Information Security procedures are amongst the best in the industry, giving law firms extra confidence in the security of their data and GDPR compliance.
Information Security Manager, Francesca Bongiorno, said, “maintaining high standard of information security is engrained within the work of everyone at DPS. It has been a challenge to maintain our high standards against the new and evolving threats, but we have robust procedures in place, which are followed by all members of staff to ensure that our clients’ data is safe and secure.”
Managing Director, Osman Ismail, added, “we are delighted to have achieved the ISO accreditation again. Cyber Security is something that we take very seriously and would implore all of our peers to follow suit. There are many threats out there, so it is important that companies have the appropriate training and procedures in place to ensure that they can defend against these threats.
By achieving this accreditation, we have shown to the BSI that our systems are more than adequate to meet modern threats and challenges.”
