As part of Release 6, The Claims Portal are introducing a new mandatory field in the RTA CNF. The Claimant Representative will be required to indicate its referral source.
The insurance field task force has recommended a new field, referral source, be included in the electronic submission. This is now part of the release 6 changes that DPS have scheduled for the portal.
The information in this field is solely for sharing data with the IFB, it will not be sent to the compensator. Provision of the referral source is not mandatory however completion of this field is. If The Claimant Representative does not wish to provide the referral source there is a ‘Prefer not to say’ option.
All of the above is now part of the release 6 changes DPS Software have scheduled for the portal. This release is not mandatory until October 2018.
