We were delighted to attend and sponsor the LLG Awards which took place on Friday, 18th November at the beautiful Queens Hotel in Leeds. We had the pleasure of being accompanied by Gareth Britten from LGSS Law, Helen Edwards from Kennedy Cater, Debbie Paget from Essex County Council, and Suki Binjal from Portsmouth City Council who joined us as our guests.
The evening proved to be a huge success for local authority legal teams from the City of Wolverhampton Council, London Borough of Hackney, Leeds City Council, Gateshead Borough Council and many others who won an award on the evening (the list of winners and corresponding awards can be found here).
DPS have been privileged and excited to be part of the ABS revolution over the past couple of years when it was, in effect, solely the domain of the Private Sector. We are thus fully qualified to guide local Councils in implementing new procedures, underpinned by the right technology, suitable for this structure.
The ABS revolution is now being ably led by many within the public sector, and we are very excited to be playing our own part to accommodate this change. It was therefore especially pleasing for us to be able to witness at first hand the celebration of excellence and high achievement over the past year within the Local Government Sector. Keeping this in mind, the event was a resounding success – for both the award winners and for us.
