Ward & Rider Solicitors are Lexcel accredited and boast very high client satisfaction rates- almost 100% would use them again and would recommend them to others.
‘’Our success in all our specialities is based on the time we spend
with clients in order to understand their needs. It is highly important to meet them face to face and provide a personalised service that suits their particular circumstances‘’ said Geoff Hart, Director and Personal Injury Specialist at Ward & Rider Solicitors.
However, in order for this availability and adaptability to exist, they need to be as efficient as
possible ‘’Practically, we need our software to do as much of the administrative work as possible in order to free up valuable fee earning time to concentrate on the parts of the matter that bring value to the client.’’ added Geoff.
Realising that their existing practice management software couldn’t keep up with their requirements, was limited in terms of 3rd party integrations, did not integrate fully with Outlook , Ward & Rider decided to review their IT. After a very long and detailed selection process, DPS’s One Office solution was chosen for many reasons but particularly due to its Outlook integration which means that the system was already familiar to any user that had Outlook. The way emails are being automatically associated to the right file and costed was also impressive and screamed efficiency.
The 100 user strong company, which now has two offices, covering Coventry, Leamington and Warwickshire is using DPS’s case management software for their Family, Wills & Probate, and PI departments.
‘’The MOJ integration is especially useful to our Personal Injury Department as more and more of that work goes through the portal these days’’ explained Geoff Hart who was responsible for studying the options available on the market. ‘’The 360 degree view of accounts information for fee earners who can view their working platform of matters, their balances, WIP, and WIP limits from one screen was impressive. Additionally, the immediate view of ledgers and ability to raise billing requests and electronic chits certainly boosted efficiency.”
